Je me suis évidemment essentiellement concentré, pendant cette croisière, sur les photos d'ambiance, les requins, les raies, ... au zoom 12~24 DX. Ici, quelques photos d'ambiance, prises ici ou là, mais sur des bancs de "petits" poissons et une courte série de macros prises à Darwin, sur une seule plongée dont le clou était le fameux Ogcocephalus darwini , étrange poisson endémique qui vit assez profond (entre 25 et 45m et plus), sur le sable SOUS la thermocline (eau à 15° !!). En remontant, dans les éboulis, j'ai tiré quelques portraits, au 60mm avec -pour la seule et unique fois- deux flashes ...

Obviously, during this cruise, I mainly concentrated on wide angle pictures : sharks, rays, ... using the 12~24 DX zoom lens. Here, one can find a few more wide angle pics, shot here and there, of schools of "small" fishes and a short gallery of macro pics shot in Darwin, during a single dive the highlight of which was the famous Ogcocephalus darwini, a strange endemic fish living on quite deep sandy bottoms (25 -45 m and deeper), UNDER the thermocline (water : 15°C !!). While ascending, in the rocks by the shore, I shot a few fish portraits, using the 60mm and -for the first on only time- 2 substrobes ...
