A two weeks trip to the Manado area (Sulawesi - Indonesia) : Siladen (Onong Resort), Manado (Mapia Resort) and Lembeh (Lembeh Resort), with a very well known (at least in France) French marine biologist : Patrick Louisy.

Two very different diving environments : 14 dives in the Marine Park of Bunaken (walls, current and coral) and 11 dives in the Lembeh strait ("muck diving" and black sand slopes).

• In Bunaken, a very rich fauna, but most of species are quite common creatures of the Indo-Pacific area ;

• Lembeh is well-known for its  abundant quite strange creatures ...

I came back with more than 500 pictures (I shot only macro) ; here, I'll present a "best of" of about 300 : Nudibranchs, Fishes and Invertebrates. Photos : Nikon D300, Ikelite housing, two Ikelite DS125 substrobes. All the pictures were taken using the micro-Nikkor 60mm ; the land photos illustrating these pages were shot with the Nikkor 12~24 zoom lens.
