Seulement deux séjours aux Maldives, en décembre 1996 (avant El Niño) à Vabbinfaru (Hôtel Banyan Tree, Atoll de Malé Nord) et en décembre 2000 (après El Niño !) à Kunfunadhoo (Hôtel Soneva Fushi, Atoll de Baa). Deux resorts de grand standing alliant charme, calme et luxe ...

Pas de photos sous-marines lors du premier séjour ; dommage, le corail était en bien meilleur état ... Deuxième séjour un peu troublé par le temps  assez médiocre : beaucoup de vent, mer agitée, beaucoup de particules en suspension, visi moyenne ... Bref, pas idéal pour la photo. Pas d'ambiance au grand angle, juste quelques photos macro ou proxi.

Il faudra revenir ...

No underwater photographs in 1996, it's a shame : coral was in a much better condition ... Second stay was a bit disturbed because of the not so good weather : strong winds, rough sea, murky water, bad visibility ... In short, bad conditions for underwater photography. No wide angle photographs, only a few close-up and macro photographs.

I'll have to come again ...
