Quatre séjours à Maurice en 20 ans ... Photos sous-marines uniquement lors du dernier séjour, à "La Résidence", superbe hôtel 5*, situé à Belle-Mare. A Rodrigues, séjour au "Cotton Bay", hôtel modeste très sympathique.

Août n'est pas la bonne saison pour la plongée par ici. Conditions difficiles : fort courant dans les passes, houle de 2 à 3 m en dehors des lagons - difficile de plonger à l'exterieur de la barrière-  ; beaucoup de particules en suspension ... Donc peu de photos réussies !

Une petite pensée et un salut amical à Benjamin CADET, du Sea Fan Diving Center à Maurice et à Jacques et Marie-Jose DEGREMONT (Cotton Dive Center) à Rodrigues.

Four trips to Mauritius over the last 20 years ... Underwater photography only during the last stay at "The Residence", wonderful 5* resort, situated at Belle-Mare. While in Rodrigues, we stayed at the "Cotton Bay" ; a small but cosy hotel.

August is not the best season for diving there. Bad conditions : strong currents in the passes, big waves in the ocean - almost impossible to dive out of the reef- ; murky water ... Thus, only a small number of photographs available !
