MER ROUGE - RED SEA (jun 2003)
VIDEO CLIPS
|
5ème voyage à Safaga, du 14 au 21 juin 2003. Très belle réussite.
Séjour non avec Dune cette fois-ci,
mais avec Alpha Red Sea (Brigitte et Jonathan
MELLOR).
5th trip to Safaga, from june 14 to june 21, 2003. I didn't dive with Dune Dive Center, this time, but with Alpha Red Sea (Brigitte and Jonathan MELLOR). The ship : the Ramadan II is quite large, very roomy ; the organization on board is excellent. The dive briefings are first class, very precise (well ... except, sometimes, regarding the current ...), superb site maps drawn by hand but incredibly close to the real thing, ... Jonathan is very competent and pleasant. All the staff on board is friendly ; the food is excellent. Highly commendable ! No photograph this time, only video. I brought back about 2 hours of film, from which I've extracted 25 short video clips, presenting the most representative species of the Red Sea's marine life. Soft corals, anthias, anemone fishes, masked butterflyfishes, hawkfishes, bannerfishes, angelfishes, parrotfishes, triggerfishes, boxfishes, lionfishes, schools of goatfishes, of fusiliers, moray eels, bluespotted stingrays, flatheads (or crocodilefishes), ... Also seen, but not filmed on video : grey reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks and even ... manta rays ! The Red Sea is still a fantastic and colourful aquarium ! |
