Une semaine à Sharm. Séjour organisé avec le concours d'Ultramarina : logement au Sofitel Sharm et plongée avec Emperor Divers.

Beaucoup de monde en août dans la région, sur terre, sur l'eau, mais aussi sous l'eau ! Mais pas mal de sites assez intéressants, malgré la foule : Jackson Reef, Thomas Reef, Woodhouse Reef sur Tiran, Shark's Reef  et Yolanda Reef, Jackfish Alley sur Ras Mohammed, l'épave du Dunraven, ...

Une escapade d'une journée sur Dahab pour faire le Canyon (super), Bells (sympa) et le Blue Hole (très décevant ; bien moins intéressant que son homonyme du Belize !).

Côté photo, je n'avais pas pris mon F90X en caisson, mais le petit SONY DSC-P9, avec le filtre orangé, mais sans utiliser ni le flash interne, ni un éclairage externe. Le résultat est très correct, nettement meilleur que mes premiers essais faits à Cuba (sans filtre orangé).

J'ai surtout fait pas mal de vidéo, quelques clips sont proposés ...

One week in Sharm, staying at the Sofitel Sharm and diving with Emperor Divers.

The area is very crowded in August, in the town itself, on the sea, but also under the sea ! However, quite a lot of nice sites to dive : Jackson Reef, Thomas Reef, Woodhouse Reef (Tiran strait), Shark's Reef  and Yolanda Reef, Jackfish Alley in Ras Mohammed, the Dunraven wreck, ...

A one day trip to Dahab, to dive the Canyon (great), Bells (nice) and the Blue Hole (very disappointing ; far less interesting than its counterpart in Belize !)

I didn't bring my F90X in its housing, only the small SONY DSC-P9 equipped with the orange filter, but neither using the internal strobe nor any external light. The result is quite satisfactory, far better than my firsts trials in Cuba (without the orange filter).
